Hi and Welcome! I’m Carol Shelleman, aka Tessie!

I love making mosaic art. Especially where old things and new things, broken and whole, come together to make a happy new thing.

I believe that there is perfection in imperfection. The art of imperfect beauty is manifested in mosaic art in a mind boggling myriad of amazing artistic celebration.

I am committed to sharing the best ideas that can ignite your creative spark to add imperfect beauty to our worlds.

Join me in my blog for inspiration. Check out Tessie’s how-to’s for tips. Look around the gallery for ideas. I want Tesserations to be an important part of your journey to discovering the joy of taking broken pieces and putting them together in a new, more beautiful whole.
